Seeking information about your case
Please note that you can only ask about your own case and not someone else's. When you call, Ministry of Justice staff will ask for your full name, case number, and other details so they can make sure they give you the right information and support.
Contact your court victim advisor
If you have been a victim of a crime and you have a court victim advisor, you can get information about your case.

Make a general enquiry
If you have a general question, please share as much information as you feel comfortable providing. This will help Ministry of Justice staff find the right information and support for you.
It is optional, but helpful, if you can provide:
- your name
- your preferred email address or phone number
- the region you live in
- your case number if relevant
- a brief description of your question/s.

Giving feedback about the Victims Information website
You can provide feedback about your experience using the Victims Information website. Feedback helps keep the website accurate, up to date and useful for the people who use it.
Feedback can include reporting incorrect or outdated content, suggesting new information or resources, sharing ideas about how the website could be improved, or highlighting what was helpful and what is working well.
It is optional, but helpful, if you can provide:
